November 2020 planet fest

October 2020 was when Mars was at it's closest approach to earth after 2005 opposition. 

Also, Jupiter and Saturn were in conjunction or close to each other in November 2020.

Some pictures of Mars November 2020

Dobson 8 inch reflector telescope with Samsung galaxy note 8 mobile with orion adapter. Used an Orion stratus giant eyepiece. 5 mm and 13 mm.

The above Facebook post says it is possible to see and image the moons of Mars. I think I've captured one of them in the snaps above.

A simple mossy brick in the flower bed is pure pleasure.

Using a cardboard with pinhole I projected onto white paper held 6 inches or so from the cardboard. 

Time 9.15 to 9.3AM 26th December 2019.

13th December 2019. The last full moon of the decade. Nothing unusual about it. This is the moon using Nikon p900 without telescope.

Moon video in cloudy skies. Still managed to get reasonable quality of exposure using AE-L or autoexposure and manual focus in Manual mode of the Nikon P900. No telescope used here.

The Milky way- 6th Aug 2016 from terrace

Milky way captured yesterday night (6th august 2016), 9.30 to 10 PM from terrace of nearby apartment. Canon 700D with tripod , 45 to 60 seconds exposure at 200 to 400 ISO, F3.5. Processed RAW images in Picasa and google photos later.
