Took some pictures of Mars using Nikon P900 without telescope. 

Used manual mode and processed on mobile 📱 from single images. 

Planet Mars from early attempt 2005

I used an ITE deep sky pro security camera to capture this picture of Mars in 2005. Coupled the camera to Orion 4.5 inch reflector telescope 🔭 recording onto a VCR tape. Later transferred to hard disk. Man, it was a lot of effort 👌. The icing on the cake was the polar ice 🧊 cap.

Mars was in opposition and pretty close to the earth 🌎 in 2005.
